Appliances & Instructions

Here you will find simple instructions for the appliances available at the property. We have included the key information you may need to use them safely and correctly during your stay.

Please check this guide before using any appliance, and contact us if you have any questions or if something is not working as expected.

A Nespresso machine is available in the kitchen. We have provided a few capsules to get you started, as we know a good coffee can be an essential part of the morning.

Additional compatible capsules can usually be purchased from larger supermarkets, including Continente and Pingo Doce. Original Nespresso capsules are also available from the Nespresso Boutique at Forum Algarve Shopping Centre in Faro, which is open daily from 10:00 to 23:00.

Hairdryers are provided at the property, so there is no need to pack your own. You will find them available for guest use during your stay.

Air conditioning units are available in every room and corridor. These can be used for both cooling and heating, depending on the season.

To use, switch the unit on using the remote or wall control, choose cooling or heating mode, and set your preferred temperature. Please keep windows and doors closed while the units are running so they work efficiently.

The system automatically resets daily. For comfort and energy efficiency, we kindly ask guests to switch the units off when leaving the property.

The underfloor heating is set to a constant temperature of 21°C throughout the property. As underfloor heating works gradually and can take a long time to change temperature, we keep it running steadily at this setting to maintain a comfortable base temperature.

If you would like to warm a room more quickly, you can use the air conditioning units in heating mode to raise the temperature as needed.

A high chair and baby cot are available at the property for guest use. Cot bedding is also provided, so you do not need to bring your own.

Please let us know if you would like these set up before your arrival.

Universal extension sockets are provided throughout the property and are available in all rooms. These are suitable for UK, European, and US plugs, so you should be able to charge and use your devices without needing to bring extra travel adapters.

Fast fibre Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

FaThe property has a Smart TV with apps such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. To use them, open the app you want and sign in with your own account details. Before you leave, please remember to log out of any apps you have used.

If you forget to log out, you can reset your account password from home

A dishwasher is available for guest use, and we provide dishwasher tablets and the basic items needed for your stay. Load the dishwasher, add one tablet, select the programme, and press start.

The villa’s consumer unit is located in the kitchen, by the front door.

If the electricity trips, check whether any switch has moved to the “off” position. To reset it, push the switch fully down first, then back up to “on”.

If the power does not come back on or you are unsure, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

The ping pong rackets and balls, along with the table football balls, are provided and can be found in the yellow basket in the BBQ area. If you need anything else, please just let us know and we’ll whisk some over for you.
