Transport & Taxis

Uber and Bolt are usually the easiest options if you already use the apps. You can enter Casa da Fonte as the pick-up or drop-off point, see an estimated price before confirming, track the driver, and pay through the app.


Private airport transfers are often the most reliable option for airport arrivals and departures, especially if you have luggage, children, a late flight, an early flight, or a larger group.

When booking any taxi, Uber or Bolt from Casa da Fonte, please use the full villa address and the exact Google Maps pin where possible.

If using Uber or Bolt, we recommend checking that the pin is in the correct place before confirming the ride. Once the driver accepts, you can also message them through the app with something simple like:

Because there is more than one place called Bordeira in the Algarve, it is worth making sure the driver knows you mean Bordeira, Santa Bárbara de Nexe, near Faro.

Uber and Bolt may be cheaper at quiet times, but prices can rise during busy periods. Taxis may be more predictable, especially if booked in advance. Private transfers may cost a little more, but can be more reliable for airport journeys, luggage, children or groups.
